SHS Wood Products Sdn Bhd was founded in 1990 and is one of the oldest solid-timber doors manufacturer in Malaysia. To ensure our timber doors can reach all over South East Asia, we have a 40,000 square meters
factory in Malaysia with more than 70 employees to cater for the growing demand for solid-timber doors.

Our History

1990

In 1990, Mr Chan Meng Sun established SHS Wood Products Sdn Bhd (SHS) by acquiring the land in Saleng Senai, Johor, Malaysia. This land was converted into a factory with the purpose to manufacture and supply across South East Asia. Mr Chan also found “Dragondor” brand which was use to cater for day-to-day customers.

1991

In 1991, SHS employed systematic manufacturing to produce solid-timber doors.

1995

In 1995, SHS constructed a showroom and an office to display finished products to provide visual display of solid-timber doors for the customers to shop it.

1995

Mid-end technology was employed to facilitate the production of solid-timber doors.

1995

With the growing demand of solid-timber door exports, SHS expanded by employing more specialists and the building of hostels to cater to the employees.

1996

In 1996, SHS management proposed to establish and purchase a Kiln Dryer from Italy. It is used to dry batches of raw timber, making it durable and stronger.

1996

Featuring the storage of raw timber, ready-to-be send for Kiln Drying.

1998

In 1998, SHS invested heavily on high end-technological machinery to ensure efficient and effective productions of solid-timber doors.

1998

In 1998, CNC machinery and Opticut was acquired.

2000

In 2000, the façade of Dragondor-Factory Outlet was established (Saleng, Senai). In 2012, Dragondor-Boutique Outlet was established (Sutera Utama).
